SELECTIVE BIBLIOGRAPHY

The British Columbia Genealogical Society has been ‘perpetuating British Columbia’s heritage’ by researching, collecting and publishing cemetery transcriptions and other genealogical materials since 1971.

Genealogical Research in British Columbia's Cemeteries

1:30-3:00 p.m

This workshop, co-sponsored by the B.C. Genealogical Society, will provide tips on locating cemetery lists and news about current cemetery recording projects in B.C. It will also explore cemetery etiquette, history and symbolism and offer ideas for taking better cemetery photographs, so that you can get the most out of your cemetery trip.

This workshop is free, but registration is required, and begins on Monday, October 17. To register, please call 604-331-3603, or come to the Fine Arts and History department on Level 6 at the Central Library.
